Phil Braithwaite and Friends joined us in October for a session of soul, r’n’b and funk – we were not disappointed! The band – and the audience – had a great time with superb musician ship from one of the most sought-after session guitarists in the UK and the wonderful vocals of Niquet Goldson. They gave us music from the likes of Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Angie Stone and En Vogue as well as some great Jamaican Dancehall reggae. We hope to have them back in 2024 – keep an eye out!
Also featuring some amazing bass from Liam Tillyer and Ed (or is it Jones?;)) Williams playing some tight as hell rhythms on drums.
Phil has toured the world as guitarist, session musician and musical director for some of the biggest names in the music world including internationally renowned violin virtuoso Vanessa Mae, Shane Filan, Westlife, Four Tops, Jonas Blue and many more as well as performing on major TV and Radio shows.
He is an up-and-coming TV & film composer and his first feature film, ‘Everything After’ will play at Reading Biscuit Factory on 11th October.
